Ray UK
Hi all, We have been getting numerous customer telling us they cannot place orders using firefox. We have checked ourselves, and found that after adding an item to the cart, on next page load or adding another item, removes the item in the cart. Its as if cookies are not working in firefox. I have cleared all caches from my computer, and emptied the smarty cache, tried turning on/off friendly urls... The site is fine when using ie. This is obviously a major thing as we are loosing a lot of customers due to this. Please could somebody help. Ray
Ray UK
ok, so I followed this solution which seemed to work... http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/196076-worked-cart-always-empty/ But then when going to checkout, because we have ssl we got a warning to the customers saying the site may not be secure (because we are trying to connect to ssl without the https :/ I had to immediately re-enter our full domain www.no-match.co.uk and it seems to have started working again.... Strange, but glad its working again for now
Ray UK
Oh no, this has stopped working again. IE is fine, but firefox will not add items to cart. If I set the domains in the BO as www.no-match.co.uk then firefox will not keep any items in the cart, Yet if I set the domains as no-match.co.uk then it works fine. The only problem there is, that when the customer goes to checkout, they get a warning that the ssl is not correct, as the ssl is on the url www.no-match.co.uk. I need to sort this out asap, so any help is appreciated. Thanks Ray
