How to show categories gride other than the home page?

I would like to open a categories list or gride from a menu but not in home page.

 

Here's the idea: I've done a homepage, with slideshow and a simple text, but not the products. Also I do not want the block of categories from the left (or right) column on the homepage. Just a simple, nice and clean homepage.

Than, on the menu, an option to call the product categories as a gride, like the featured products, but the categories instead.

 

How do I get this?

Never mind. I found my way to do it.

 

 

1. Create a products category named PRODUCTS (or All or whatever).

2. Associate every product to it (a product can be associated to different categories)

3. On the menu, add a menu item with link to this category.

 

Obs: This solution will not display categories, but all products, paginated. I wish it would show the categories instead, as a grid... if anyone knows how, please share.
