Cannot log in to Back Office, password reset not possible ((SOLVED))

After spending a good part of the afternoon getting Prestashop installed (the user view is working at http://diplomette.co...ashop/index.php), I can't log in to the back office, nor will it let me reset my password. I've followed some other advice threads in here, went in to PhpMyAdmin and looked at the password and email, changed the email, tried to have the system send me a reminder email- to no avail. It either renews the login screen over and over and over, or gives the answer "there is an error" (without stating what the error actually is).

 

Further to this, when I choose the "manage my store" option, it redirects me to /admin, despite the fact I changed "admin" folder and added the numbers after it as directed. When I manually type it in, it takes me to the login screen with no problem. I wonder if this has anything to do with the password problem?

 

I've spent all afternoon scouring forums trying to fix this. Can anyone help?

What version are you using?

Hi! I'm using the latest version. It was actually your advice from other posts that I followed. It was very helpful and easy to understand, yet the problem turned out to be something else. I tried in Safari and I could log in. So I came back to Firefox, deleted all of the cookies, and it was fine. I tried again this morning, and again, it was working as it should. Thanks for the response, in any case!
