benjamin utterback
Hello golfp-96 have you cleared your cookies and cache and tried to see if the translation went through?
golfp-96
Hello Benjamin, actually, I am a complete newbie, and I am not sure, whether caching is working in my installation, or not, because there are some messages about necessity of installation of Memcache and some other cache plug-ins. Let me remark, that to this moment I did a lot of translations and I had seen the result immediately after the page refresh. The only thing that is still not translated is the Sitemep. Now I tried the following: 1.Set Advanced Parameters-Performance-Smarty-Force recompilation and Save parameters 2.I did not remove all cookies - just open it in the other browser 3.Refresh page Sitemap is still there... If I was wrong, maybe you can give me more precise instructions what shall I do... Edited October 23, 2012 by golfp-96 (see edit history)
benjamin utterback
Hello goldfp-96. I think the best best for you would be to create a new database and a new fresh install of version 1.5.2 that just released.

golfp-96
I did the fresh install of 1.5.2, the problem is the same - no translation for Sitemap. Moreover, I got a problem with localisation pack installation - it did not work until I chmod to 777 all the prestashop folders recursively. For those how have the same. Go to themes\default-bootstrap\modules\blockcms\ and open blockcms.tpl On line 118, in the code: "{$link->getPageLink('sitemap')|escape:'html':'UTF-8'}" change the first "sitemap" word onto "Sitemap" with the caps on the letter S. Upload to the server and refresh your page. The dev who coded the page wrote the wrong id word by forgetting to write the word with a Caps S. ... 2 hours to find out. Hope this will help others saving time
