technophobe Posted October 21, 2012 Share Posted October 21, 2012 (edited) I hope someone can help me? i have an install of 1.5.0.17 and for some reason the customer groups got deleted when i uploaded some products form a 1.4 installation. I re created them again, but now the default customer group has an ID of 4, so when someone is looking at the site that is not logged in, a lot of the menues and modules are invisible to the customer. If i create an account and in the admin side assign that customer to group 4 (Visitor) i can then see the site as i would expect by Authorizing the modules in the "Module restrictions:" section of the customer group section. I think becase the group ID has changed from ID1 to ID4 any visitors who are not logged, dont see parts of the site that are restriced in the Module restrictions? Is there anyway to either change hte ID back or set the default group ID? Any help on this would be appreciated.
