get value to variable

I would like to read id_order and total_products to variable in file

/modules/cashondelivery/validation.php

 

 

in mails/order_conf.html is like {total_products}, {order_name}

 

 

example for .php

 

$test = ???????????????;

 

echo $test;

 

I cant get value inside.

 

Pls help..
