xenobius Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Dear friends, I have a serious problem with Prestashop. Firstly 90% of my users cannot login. When they insert wrong credentials they get the expected error however entering correct credentials just leads them to the same login page as if they are about to login. I say 90% because I manage to login and I do receive orders but this error used to happen to myself and fixed itself!! I asked family members to login and this happens to them too. On the other hand 1 out of 10 people manage to login. I tried to solve this error which occurred mysteriously, by upgrading the 1 click upgrade module which installed correctly. However when I tried to upgrade I got an error. The problem now is that the modules section does not load any more. Only the top part of the website loads. So I tried to make a fresh install of prestashop 1.5.1.0 and it worked obviously worked, however I CANNOT import my existing theme / products / clients / orders etc... into the new shop. I need help either solving my current issues or scrapping the old installation and going for a new fresh install without having to start over. xenobius Posted October 21, 2012 Author Share Posted October 21, 2012 Hey thanks for your reply. Ok so deleting the cookies should solve the problem however this creates a new one. How will the customers know that they should delete cookies prior to logging in? Also I am still stuck with v1.4 because the modules are not showing up and I cannot install a new module (1 click upgrade). Any ideas?
