glennlawre
I am having an issue trying to implement SSL on my site. I have posted a couple of topics on the support forums, but have not got any replies/advice. Basically the SSL is setup correct with my host as I can browse to the https address and it works fine. However when I enable SSL in the BO the pages that become secure by default, Contact, Login, Check-out etc. have stopped working. I get the below error from Firefox: "The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." In IE8 the page just goes nowhere. I am on Prestashop 1.4.8.3 Can someone please provide me with a quote to get this working? Thanks in advance... glennlawre
I am still looking for some help with this. Anyone out there interested in this project? As I mentioned, the SSL is setup ok with my host as I can browse to the https: version of my pages and they work fine. However when I enable SSL in my BO the secure pages do not work. Maybe we could look to redirect these pages to the https: pages via .htaccess or something without actually enabling SSL in the BO. If anyone knows a bit more about this then maybe you are interested? Thanks...
