XML Parsing Error: not well-formed

After a uploaded by ftp 12 new modules, it`s give me this error

try uninstalling.

 

Note: if you have to ftp a module, then it's NOT a module. Modules should be written to install/un-install via the back office module manager. I personally would not ftp up anything that is advertised as a module that you have to ftp.

the back office gives you two options for uploading a module, this is core prestashop functionality

1) directly from your computer

2) from a remote FTP location

 

I would agree however, that unless you trust the source of the FTP file, I would avoid using it. Download the file from the remote FTP directly, this will allow for virus checking (assuming you have antivirus installed). Open the zip file and explore its contents to ensure you know what is inside. Then install the module using option 1 above.
