VIXUS
I have few thousands products on my price list. Its in excell and i maintain it daily for price diferences and availability of products.I was trying to use csv import as tool for updating. Its working ok, i got everything working (i provide in my csv ID of products and all relevant data) except one thing. When ever i upload mine csv prices are corrected, availability updated but i lose products images, every time i lose products images. If i insert image url then i get doubled images on every import. And offcourse deleting products before import is out of the question. If i dont provide ID in CSV than i got doubled all products.Every way i try i cant properly update mine products!!!???What can be done about this? How do you people update your pricelists?help me out here couse im frustrated with this issue!!! tnx! Jack
Could you please share what you do? I have the same problems as I have over 2000 products to keep up with....The prices are changed due to seasonal and holiday.....Thanks.
tmouse
I would also like to hear how youre handling day-to-day maintenance. I was starting to search for some 'product-list' module / tool to use as mass-updater/viewer of products in DB. Using default interface is just too slow / not designed for quick overview/mass-update. VIXUS
Entire post is here:http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/19764/P15/general_discussion/solvedautomatic_update_product_quantitiesI attach you a sample of mine update.php script that runs and sample of products that i update in update.csv, Just put it somewhere on your server and protect acess to it by password from cpanel. Script updates products price, quantity and activity by their reference number. The ones that it dont finds it just dont update so theres no any error message. If someone updates script in this manner please share it here.BRDJ. update.zip
