smartsd
Hi. Does anyone help me please? I have Prestashop 1.5 in MAMP, when select Modify Translations, on front & back office, installed modules, appears: Warning, your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields to post in a form: 1000 for max_input_vars. Please ask your hosting provider to increase the this limit to 1318 at least or edit the translation file manually. And on the "Modify translations" appears in blank. Can anyone help me, urgent please? Thanks.
shacker
You need to dontact your host provider to request to add to this var max_input_vars a higer value
timeatop
And if the provider does not want to increase this value? Is there any other way to proceed with translation?
shacker
you cant, maybe need to edit the translations editing the php files (es.php, fr.php) in your module or theme folder
Edgeco
Maybe you can help me also. I had the same problem in translations and have had my Host Provider upgrade the php config to far in excess of the requirement to open Back Office translations yet I am still getting the same error message as if nothing had been done. I'm using 1.5.4.. A disconnect somewhere? Edited May 14, 2013 by Edgeco (see edit history)

selin
Hello, Additionally, the server may be made by the panel. Sample: login plesk panel open, "website and domains" page "php settings" page down big text-box => you write max_input_vars = 6000 and save, okay. good work =)
