ssurulka
I have a site www.sitename.com that gets redirected to www.sitename.com/sitename what do I do to get rid of the extra folder level in the url. This wasnt the case when I had hosted the site for the first time. I have not even changed the directory structure in the code. I have set my PS directory in the SEO and URL section as /sitename/ I have also checked the config file and it shows /sitename/ Can someone please suggest a solution for the same. This is urgent. Thanks.
musicmaster
It depends on your host. Usually you can define somewhere in the settings to which directory a domainname refers.
ssurulka
Thanks for the reply. However, It is already set to the subfolder. It is just that the URL shows along with the subfolder. For e.g. www.sitename.com/foldername/
musicmaster
It depends whether you use 1.4 or 1.5. In 1.4 it is rather easy to change the directory of a shop. In 1.5 it is either impossible or at least more difficult.
ssurulka
Sorry for the delay in response, I'm using 1.4.6.2. I've already set the PS directory in the SEO and URL tab
