hiding part of title name of a category

Hello everyone,

 

I have a seo question. I use 1.4.9 version and i want to use in my pet store lets say in dog category.

 

So I want to use dog supplies as the page name but when you're in the front office on that page you see the page tree above the sub categories section so if i am under dog then beds

 

that tree will say right now dog supplies > beds I want it to where I can hide supplies in that section of the site

 

I will also be using under beds section and ad dog beds then hide the dog name as well. I am wanting to build on all my meta keywords but not make it look all crazy throughout the site.

 

Can someone tell me how to hide that in the pages as well as left side navigation block. I want all the full names to show in the site map like dog supplies and dog beds then follow throughout my whole site like this.

 

I just need to know how to make this happen the easiest way.
