fadi_a Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 (edited) Hallo evrybody I try to install prestashop 1.5.1, and keep getting an error message at the second step "Recursive write permissions on files and folders". I had the permissions to all folders 755 and I keep getting error at all folders except themes/default/lang/ themes/default/pdf/lang/ themes/default/cache/. I have "changed the permissions of all folders to 777, but it still gives an error on some folders. can someone give me some tips. LCSTeam Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 Try this: Check the list of files and folders you have in the copy of the prestashop folder installed in your htdoc folder. You may discover that the listed files and folders in the error message are missing in the copy of prestashop folder you copied to the htdoc. Delete the prestashop folder from the htdoc folder (inside the xampp folder), recopy the unzipped Prestashop folder into htdoc. Go back and refresh the installation page. the problem was solved.
