How do you name new pages?

Recommended Posts

This may seem like a really simple, basic and possibly stupid question, maybe i'm missing something obvious but how do you name a page in the cms? I can see there are existing pages such as 'delivery' 'legal notice' 'about us' etc. but if i click on 'add new' i can only see fields for-

Meta title

Meta description

Meta keywords

Friendly Url

Page content..

& whether to publish it or not..

But where do i set the actual name of the page as it appears on the page button?

Wow, so if my page meta title for SEO purposes is 'Graphic Design for Print in Glasgow | Professional Graphic Design Studio' then this will be the name of my page in the main navigation!? I would obviously want to name the page button something like 'Graphic Design'

On this subject of additional pages. Can someone please enlighten me as to where these pages are stored, as I can't find them anywhere. I want to be able to edit them in an external editor and just upload them. (it's much quicker!)

SOLVED!

Just discovered that they are not actually pages (text files) but long-form text within the database! Strange way of doing it if you ask me. It makes the process of creating and editing far more long-winded than just creating them in one's usual text editor!
