coltrak
Ok,let me try explain my problem that i have not yet solved. I am going to make my new store live on my url www.coltrak.com that i have at godaddy.com My hosting is at ipage.com The nameservers are set for ipage on godaddy and its like its been before pointing to coltrak.com and root folder at ipage / When i try to(in ipage) point coltrak.com to coltrak.com/prestashop (where my new store is built) everything gets broken up and nothing is showing. Ipage will not help me with 3rd party stuff so trying my luck here now. I understand now i need to change my url setting in prestashop/server settings in backoffice. Ive been trying around with settings in backoffice url but no luck so far. My seo url setting looks like this now: How can i change this so it will be correct when i in point manager in ipage point not to root folder, to coltrak.com/prestashop, or is more advanced changes i need to do. Or is it better to erase old store in root folder and move everything from new folder /prestashop to root? Thanks
coltrak
and i also have the option to just forward coltrak.com to coltrak.com/prestashop at godaddy but as i have read its better to use nameservers, correct?
coltrak
is it maybe something simple like pointing, erasing .htacces and generating a new?
musicmaster
if I look at coltrak.com/seoscreenshot.jpg I see an error message that you are using friendly url's without having mod_rewrite installed. Maybe you should correct that first.

Make sure that FastCGI is not running. take a look at this thread. http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/192951-solved-url-rewriting-mod-rewrite-is-not-active-on-your-server-using-cgifastcgi/

musicmaster
Did you try disabling the friendly urls? If non-friendly urls work: did you try rewriting .htaccess?
