threepe
I have a test shop setup with just a few options selected and no other changes made. Its a fresh install on a test domain. I've done this as my real site also has the same bug, and I was rather hoping that a simple basic install would be bug free allowing me to do something for my customers... No matter, if you go to presta.abytedev.co.uk and add something to the cart and then checkout you will generate the following error when you enter your address details and try to save them: TECHNICAL ERROR: unable to save account Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: error I'm using the one page checkout option, along with allowing guest accounts. Other than setting up a carrier and some shipping rates I've done very little. I've added an extra shipping zone (Uinited Kingdom) and move the UK out of the Europe Zone and into the UK zone so that I can have different postage rates for local parcels compared to sending them abroad (I'm based in the UK). There are no other changes to the shop and its STILL not working even like this...... Edited October 7, 2012 by threepe (see edit history)

threepe
Thank you for taking the time to test the site, only I don't understand how you did not get the problem?! I have just checked again. I have gone to the the site in Firefox added one item into the cart, and the proceeding to fill in all my address information. I get to the point where you have to click save at the bottom of the form and then it all breaks.....
threepe
Just done a bit more testing and things seem to work in Chrome, but not Firefox, something I don't understand.
yunodira
Ah, you've done what I'm about to suggest. Try disable addon that suspiciously interfere with the script. If the problem persist, reporting it as a bug is the best thing to do because, alas, I lack the mean to investigate the source of your specific problem. Somewhere in the forum suggest some module can interfere with the process, as example, enabling mobile theme can generate error report on registration process. I've tested your guest checkout using Firefox 13.
threepe
OK, thanks for the help. Will have to bug report it. I'm using Firefox 15 and there are no modules added to the shop and nothing added to Firefox either.
