White screen of death on some admin pages straight out of Installatron

I confirmed CHMOD on the /cache folder as 755 and 777 .... I heard good things about prestashop and hope this is an easy fix so i can get on with it..

For manual cache clear you need to access your Prestashop installation directory and delete the content of the following folders:

  1. cache/smarty/compile
  2. cache/smarty/cache

 

if this will not help, it mean that the problem is somewhere else

It's still not working.

i suppose that it was related to the smarty compilation files, i don't know exactly what - just suppose that it might be related to the modules, but im not sure at all.

 

do you remember, maybe you installed some addon right before this issue start to appears?
