Edit Labels on Front page - Cannot write to the theme’s language file

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have searched for this problem in the forum and have not found a solution.

Iam attempting to change some text labels on bars on the front page.

I do this by going into: Tools—>Translations from the Back Office

When I make my changes, I get the following error:

Cannot write the theme’s language file (/home/woozingo/public_html/modules/blockautosearch/en.php). Please check write permissions.

I have tried to set permissions as: 655, 665,666.

Any ideas?

Thanks Chris :) You pointed me in the right direction.

Whats interesting though is that all files/folders in the modules directory seem to be set to 777. Do you know if this is a default setting.
