I need help with shopping cart

When i open my new site who i made and try to place order i see this

 

"Your shopping cart is empty."

try clearing your browser cache and cookies

 

this replaces famous tech support response, 'have you tried turning it off and back on again'.

I clear in browser cache and cookies, then i try open site and confirm order on 3 different computer. Still nothing! I don't see this problem only when i open site in opera

can you tell us what theme, prestashop version you are using?

 

and what modifications have you or someone else made?

 

it works fine unless you add a product from the category, i.e. when I add the product from the product page it adds to the cart but if I add from the category then I get the results you described.

 

 

I suggest trying this, turn off ajax for your shopping cart and test.

back office-->modules-->find cart

I am having the same "Your shopping cart is empty." error popping up but this happens when I try to test the cart for a country outside of Canada, that is, Trinidad. The shopping cart works when I try to test transactions from Canada.

 

I'm using 1.5.1.

Update: This problem of the empty cart seems to show up in chrome sometimes and other times in firefox. hope this clue helps someone.

It's is completely weird. But this cart stopped again. Has anyone had any success solving the cart issue. I'm using a vanilla install and just when I think I got it. I miss something.
