saynernz
Hi there, I have a client who sells flowers online. As these flowers are intended as gifts, they expect most of their sales to get shipped to addresses other than their customers own addresses. In effect, their customers are arranging to send these flowers to a third party recipient. The client would like it make it as easy as possible for their customers to create new addresses. I've been using Prestashop version 1.4 with the 1.4 version of the new default theme, working on customizing the order process to that effect. Just one issue left, though - When you go to create a different address them your own, the First and Last name fields automatically go and fill out the details your entered when you first signed up, as in the attachment below. How can I change it so that nothing automatically comes up there? I just want those fields to be blank, is all. I had a look at the code in address.tpl but there's nothing that I can see to delete that would get it to stop. Any ideas?
saynernz
Additional: Would also like for the first address to be filled out to be recognized as the Billing/Invoice Address for the account. I find that once I fill out my first address of a new account, then it takes me to the Address step in the 5-step order process, it then give me the option to add a new address (which should be the recipient address). Once the new address is entered, it automatically assigns the first address as the Delivery Address, and the second address at the Billing Address. Is there any way to swap these around so that the address you enter at account creation is automatically assigned as the Billing address, and any new ones assigned as the Delivery Address? I've tried looking at the code but I'm afraid I'll stuff everything up. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
