benjamin utterback
Hello all, if you could, please turn display errors on via FTP in your root/config/config.inc.php line 29. Please tell me what errors are displayed and I will do my best to assist you.
justkaka
I contacted Hostgator support - gave them my Admin login and they fixed it Something to do with Cache & Friendly URL's - they said that reduces memory Hostgator only allow 256Mb memory for Shared Hosting accounts...Suggested VPS instead of Shared account its only a small shop < 100 products - can't justify VPS... (Not the first time) Anyone suggest a BETTER host... Preferably UK - cost is an issue and I prefer cPanel
benjamin utterback
Hello justkaka, I certainly recommend BlueHost. www.bluehost.com/prestashop . Check it out, you certainly do not need a VPS for any small PrestaShop store.

benjamin utterback
Hello jabrone, this error is saying that you are missing the file config.inc.php. I spoke to our development team and they suggest to reinstall PrestaShop 1.5 to reduce any further issues, if at all possible.
jabrone
Thanks for the reply. I just did that prior to posting on the form. Should I download a fresh version from prestashop and try that?

benjamin utterback
Hello all, it is my pleasure to try and help. This hostgator issue is concerning me. I am wondering what the errors are when getting an Internal Server Error on HostGator. If anybody else encounters this problem please, via FTP, turn your Errors "on" in your config/config.inc.php file. Line 29 "Display Errors "on". This will give us a better understanding of what is happening. Thank you!
