php memory_limit value ?

Recommended Posts

Hi.

Another problem after upgrading to ps 1.5.0.17

In 1.4, I have fixed the php memory_limit parameter at 128M.

I thinked that this value is always very hight...

After upgrade to 1.5.0.17 with a cart validation with more the 8 items I have the famous fatal error try to allocate....

So I discover that my PS 1.5.0.17 need to have 256M.

It's very much.

What value of memory_limit are you using in our PS 1.5 ?

Regards

Sorry I don't have the php script name and the line n. because i have info by the final customer.

It's was 2 time in cart validation, at adress confirmation.

After the 1st time it"s a cart of 10 items.

i test with only 2 items and i don't have problem.

The customer have not waiting and it's me that validate the customer cart in back office.

The 2nd time, it's at validation of a cart of 8 items.

I can said to customer to wait (at phone).

I change the memory_limit from 128M to 256M in php.ini and restart apache server.

I ask to the customer to try another time and he can validate his cart.

If you think there is an interest, i cant fix it to 64M for exemple and make a test for try to having the error whith php script name and line ?

What's the "stan dard" value of memory_limit accepted from PS 1.5 ?

Regards

I had to rise the memory_limit to 256M as well. After upgrading to 1.5 I first I got the usual memory_limit error when trying to get to the module list and rose it to 128M, then I had to double it again to keep using the webservice to create/update products.

64M was enough in 1.4 to do the same things I'm doing in 1.5, it's crazy.
