Prestashop 1.5 Attributes and Combinations not available showing on product page

Hi,

 

I have a website selling Hair Extensions and each product has different lengths and different colours available all with different price ranges.

 

However in some lengths only a few colours are available but because other lengths have colours available, each length is showing all the colours to choose from, but is confusing for the customer as when they choose a combination which is not available on prestashop 1.5 this does not show any message that this is not available it just hides the add to cart button.

 

I am looking for away which they can choose the length first and then it will only show the colours available for the chosen length.

 

I have selected the option in prefences -> Products -> Display unavailable product attributes on product page -> No

 

However this does not seem to do what I am looking for.

 

Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.

 

P.S - Some off my products have over 270+ combinaitons so I have had to import all my combinations using CSV as this is much quicker than imputting them one by one and because each length has 3 colour bands for the length has 3 different prices I can use the Products Combinations Generator as can not get the correct prices.

 

If there is a solution for this it will need to work by being able to import combinations from CSV
