bullywug
We run a small shop here in Toronto and we do it by offering customers a large catalog but we only stock low quantities of items and if items are unpopular we don't stock them at all. This allows us to offer customers more choices. What's happened during the migration to Prestashop is we used Cart-2-Cart to migrate over the data from our old OSCommerce shop. During the process all of the products were set to "I want to specify available quantities manually" and "When out of stock: Deny orders" rather than setting it to default. This is having the effect that my settings to allow customers to place orders for items not in stock is being ignored and customers are not allowed to place orders for out of stock items. We have close to 700 items in our database and I'd really, really rather not edit each of them by hand but I guess I will if I have to. Could you please advise what the best course of action is?
