dumb-joaquin
Hi Forum, I have done few websites but never an online store and never tried Prestashop. However, there's the possibility that a client wants me to fix her Prestashop store which isn't looking good plus it may not work porperly due, perhaps, to loose set-up. I would like to know what should I do first, download Prestashop 1.5 and then ask for some access deatails, username and password? Then, disable all functionality and set-up and start from scartach? Please help. Many thanks in advance. Edited September 27, 2012 by dumb-joaquin (see edit history)
SuperCharlie
I probably wouldnt beat myself up until I was sure to get the project. Once you get the project, install a fresh copy locally to play with in WAMP, get used to it, download and install a copy of her messed up site locally using WAMP and then determine if it is too jacked to fix or not. dumb-joaquin
Hi SuperCharlie, Thanks so much for your suggestion. I am on a Mac and have MAMP installed, Apache 2.0, PHP 5.3, MySQL 5.5... I guess that's good enough. If it's too jacked, which I suspect it is, then could I just do some sort of delete/erase and start from scratch? Thanks again
