After upgrade to 1.5, everything is white!

So I have a test store and updated that to 1.5 last week without any problems. I've been playing with the test site just to make sure everything was fine and it was.

Last night I went for it and updated my main store to 1.5. Everything went fine just as it did with the test store. Checked if payments were working, shipping, etc. Everything was working fine.

 

Woke up this morning and everything is white (blank). Front office and Back office. I can't access anything.

 

Checked my test store and it's the same way. All white. I've had the test store working for a week. Seems odd they both went white at the same time.

 

Any ideas? I did a backup of 1.4 and the database before I updated.

So now I go and check it and it's working!!! It litterally fixed itself while I was typing this post!! Go figure. Hope it stays working.

same to me... I want to test prestashop 1.5 with my present DB, but it is imposible. After 1 click upgrade modules page is white, also website is white

Well, my initial panic was to come here and try to fix it asap but when I finished typing my post, it miraculously fixed itself so I don't know what was going on. It's been working since. I've been keeping a close eye on it.

It's a memory limit issue, you can check the actual error message by editing the config/config.inc.php file to set display_errors on.

 

Depending on your server conf, you may be able to fix it adding this line at the beginning of the same file:

ini_set('memory_limit','64M');
