JOB OFFER - CSS sprite for blocklanguages

Hello, we are using the blocklanguages of Prestashop 1.4.9. We use many languages on our website. For each language, there is a small flag displayed on the theme. I need someone to combine these flags into css sprite to speed up loading of the front page. If you are interested, please send me a quote and your contact information. Thank you.

yes

create a transparent png image put all the image

now crop the image area u want..and u wil get height and width

on css background position: put that in negative if from left if from right just put the position.

if u are offering job for this think larger...create sprite for all images

Jiten rash, it's not quite as simple as that with the block languages.

 

They are displayed from the img directory using a foreach and the flag iso code.

 

As standard there is not an individual class for each flag where you can add the sprite properties.

I'm not a owner of prestashop store, but i created a lot of stores for my customers

Its a simple solution really, create a sprite with the images, edit the loop in the block languages to append the iso of the language on to the class of the ul that is being loaded, then affect the background image by targeting the css class.

I now have a CSS Sprite for the language flags running on my site www.bioaquatek.com.

 

Reduced the HTTP requests by 9 images
