Our webshop is based on the prestashop theme coton bought two months ago. Including the update option because prestashop 1.5 was upcoming. Today they told me, no updates planned. I asked for a refund for the update option 30 euro's, since there will be no updates, not now and not later.

 

They don't do refunds. Shame on the coton developers! I feel conned.

i will bump this topic. When you buy on the addons site you expect a bit of protection, otherwise whats the point. You can go to the developers website and get it cheaper.

 

I would ask prestashop to force a refund, at the very least the money for the upgrade options should be returned as they did not fullfill the contract.

I read that the addon store has a new person in charge now. I would try to contact him. Also post in that section of the forum you might get more help.

 

As for the charge back, that is a way to destroy a relationship, I would hold off on that. Especially since you bought it two months ago, you are out of the window that anyone other than amex corp would do a charge back.
