If you have a retailer that charges tax to say California and someone goes through the checkout process and enters the state of Alabama, then enters a California zip code. The order goes through without taxes. You can write the postage out with the wrong state and the right zipcode and it will ship fine. So if you are not handling your shipping or printing labels automatically you might never catch it. Anyone know a way to validate the zip code against the state?
