Catalog and estore at the same time?

A ladies boutique asked me to create a estore that she can use as a catalog for the high-style dresses and an estore for the prom dresses.

How can I configure the Prestashop for having both the types? Is it possible?

Or do I need to create 2 stores?

Hello 100dc, thank you for the message. I'm sure there will be other suggestions, but I think a good way to do this would be to not show the price if the stock is zero. That way you can have the high-style dresses as showing no price. and the Prom dresses for sale with a price (with a positive inventory) Check out this thread, http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/152404-price-not-show-if-stock-is-zero/

You could do this with PrestaShop 1.5 or

 

pre-1.5

 

have two domains one for your exciting prestashop and another for high end catalog mode shop (same installation) and would require at a minimum the following two modules: (also sold on ps addons)
