gulli
I'm trying to translate Prestashop v. 1.4.8.2 to Icelandic but I'm having trouble getting it to work. I copied the translations/en directory from my install and translated most of the strings there in a new directory translations/is , those that I didn't translate are still there only in English. Then I created a new language, Icelandic with ISO code 'is' and language code 'is' Now that doesn't seem to be the right way to do it, because the Back office complains that some of the translation files are missing although I have all the same files as in the English translation. Could someone point me in the right direction with this? I haven't found anything here on the forums other than a pointer to a translation tool that's offline. Thanks in advance. Gulli I've attached my translation directory as a zip file just in case there might be something wrong or missing in it. is.zip
gulli
Well, seems that translating these files was a complete waste of time - for anyone else ending up here, create a new language and use the Tools->Translations menu options to translate to a new language. Once I've gotten a translation that can be used I'll find a way to share that here.
