APO/FPO addresses

Recommended Posts

Without trying it myself, and I did search for an answer to this much like I'm sure you did.

Have your tried defining your requirements back office-->shipping?

elpatron suggests the solution I have used for APO/FPO.

1. Using version 1.4.9.0 in the BO select Shipping, Countries then click "Add New"

2. Filling the fileds as desired. I used Country FPO, ISO Code FPO, Call prefix 0, Default Store Currency, Need Zip/Postal code, Zip/Postal Code format NNNN-NNNN, Address layout as:

firstname lastname

company

address1 address2

city, State:name postcode Country:name

phone

phone_mobile

Status Enabled, Contains following states, No for tax ID number and tax labels.

3. Select "States", then "Add new", the fill in info similar to the following;

Name - AE

ISO Code - AE

Country - FPO

Zone - US (or other zones you may have created)

Status enabled.

4. You can create all the APO and FPO addresses you need this way.
