Alcately
Hello community, I upgraded nicely from 1.4.7 to 1.5.0.17 with a manual update. I got an error code 34 but only 1 sql table gave a fail. Being something related to tax. <action result="fail" error="34"> <request result="fail" sqlfile="1.4.9.0"> <sqlQuery> ALTER TABLE `ps_order_tax` ADD `id_order_tax` INT UNSIGNED NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY FIRST </sqlQuery> <sqlMsgError>Table 'DBNAME.ps_order_tax' doesn't exist</sqlMsgError> <sqlNumberError>1146</sqlNumberError> </request> This one does not concerns me the most. I have however blank pages in my admin section. I used to have them before but switching from smarty 3 back to 2. However this one is no longer able in 1.5.0.17 resulting in some back office pages which are just blank. I refer there to the modules, order details, module positions. Is there anyone who can give me a clue how to get the site towards smarty 3? I have different subdomains where the new software is running (clean install) and everything is working there. I also have this issue when I change towards the default prestashop theme Thank you in advance!
Alcately
After playing around an evening I solved this issue myself. I compared my updated prestashop with the new version. All folders which where not overwritten and which where clearly no longer needed, I cleaned out. This also included some smarty_v2 folder/files. It seems that the store somewhere was interacting wrong with old files. Since I cleaned it all.. it works again. Also I got my module page no longer showing as blank. On the update my paypal module also gave some errors. I deinstalled it and reinstalled a newer version. My store thus far seems to work.
