Mephivio
I upgraded my PS 1.4.9 to PS 1.5.0.17 (stable) using the 1click upgrade module no troubles - all worked fine. Since this date, i can't access from the BO to the Module menu (i have a blank page in return) and the FO generates a http 500 error (blank page too) - so i restore to ps 1.4.9 waiting a few weeks... i'm very disapointed because reading the forum in French and English, i see i'm not alone. Is there any solution to solve these two problems ? Does the PS team has realy test the upgrade process from an existing Shop and not only from the default ps 1.4.9 install ? it seems that a RC3 would be necessary to obtain a stable release but we have now a stable release ... not so stable ... tiagojpavan
I have the exact same problem. I can access the login page from BO, but when I try to login, I can get back to the same page, and when I'l go to FO, I only get a 500 internal error. Very disapointing. El Patron
There has been a major change in how 1.5 modules are written. You should always review your 3rd party modules to make sure they are compliant with your targeted release. In my honest opinion the upgrade guide should point this out before you upgrade. In order to get more error information change config/config.inc.php @ini_set('display_errors', 'on');

In order to get more error information change config/config.inc.php @ini_set('display_errors', 'on'); I don't used the installation guide because my host have the 1-click-install, and about the modules, I got some problems before with this, so before every upgrade I disable the problematic modules I have and then go to upgrade, but this time this I see this is not the problem, I think. Well, thanks anyway.
jhnstcks
Delete the dibs module from your server, that will solve the modules page not displaying

tiagojpavan
Probably not, unless your problem is the modules page not working No, this isn't my problem at all. Well, no problem. I restored my system to an early backup I've made before the upgrade process, and after some configurations all get back online. Thanks to all for the answers.
