bills
Hi, I'm using prestashop 1.4.8.2, and I don't recieve any order e-mail alerts on my shop e-mail. E-mail configuration in prestashop is 100% OK, because customers are receiving e-mails. I have e-mail alerts module installed & configured properly. Any help? shokinro
Try my free mod to Mail Duplicator. It will send a copy of all emails to store admin http://addons-modules.com/en/free-prestashop-modules-addons-modifications/34-agile-mail-duplicator-for-prestashop-14x-.html
bills
Thanks, But it still doesn't solve my problem. Now I receive all e-mails, even if new customer will register in my shop. Kerm
Try check Exim logs or what smtp client u have on your server...try also manualy add smtp auth sittings on prestashop email page and try do order.... Btw is you email server placed on same server with site? You can send mail to external addresses fine, but with local email boxes have some trouble may be, some thing with routing for example .. You installed module and he work with local fine yes? bc he use other send options and code may be, but standart prestashop function dont work.. vigneswara
Any idea how to fix it? HI Bills, One my clients had a similar problem. Running 1.4.8.2. Customers receive email normally. Shop admin does not receive email when new order is placed. My solution. I just wrote an email to the hosting provider. I gave them temporary access to back office just in case. They solved it in less than an hour. It was a server problem. Give it a try and let let me know if it works.
indus
I used my own smtp settings instead of php mail function in prestashop in backoffice > preferences > email and its working normally now.

georgerobbo
I had this problem for ages. Just tried going into preferences > mail and changed my email from the php mailing to SMTP and set up my email like that. Works fine now Thanks
