pel024
Hi all, Today I received a "Notification of Payment Received" email from PayPal but no corresponding "New order" email from prestashop. The order was also not showing up on the order page in the BO. When I checked the customer page the order was marked as "invalid" and the status as "Authorisation accepted by PayPal". I manually changed this to "Payment accepted" and now it appears in the order list, but no products are listed, no invoice generated, and it doesn't appear in the stats. This has never happened before and is obviously pretty worrying! I've had other orders today that have gone through without problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS v1.4.6.2 Cheers Paul Edited September 19, 2012 by pel024 (see edit history)
pel024
Anyone know what may have caused this?
Kruk
I've just experienced the same problem which is quite worrying as I would miss the order if I wouldn't get a PayPal notification. Anyone found a solution by any chance?
pel024
I think I've found a solution. It seems to be caused by a bug with the Swift Mailer library used by Prestashop to send emails. This has apparently been fixed in v1.4.9, so this is what I did: Downloaded v1.4.9 Deleted the directory tools/swift (from my v1.4.6.2 install) Copied over the new version I only did this today but so far all orders have gone through as normal. I'm going to give it a few days though before I mark this as solved.

indus
In my case, this started happening to me with 1.4.9 from yesterday. Never had this issue with previous versions. But i have valid orders in the back office and orders page. Just that the emails are not coming to me or to the customer. Later emails like shipped or delivered etc are being sent. indus
ok. i manually set the mail settings in prestashop and now new order emails are coming through, php mail function has stopped working it seems.
