Everything install smoothly for 1.4.9.0 however cant login to BO via admin page

Dear Gurus,

 

A total Noob here for SQL, php and stuffs and i really needed some help here. Tried bumping around asking question from host admin as well as domain admin and finally im able to install prestashop however STILL there are problem. Long story short:

 

1. i have domain from godaddy.

2. i have host at Usonyx.

3. i created DB in Usonyx from Plesk parallels panel

4. follow the guide from presta site and everything was smooth.

5. deleted "install" folder

6. able to see admin login page.

 

finally when i think everything was real smooth, when i want to access BO by login in as admin, the page keeps refreshing itself and nothing shows... i tried again n again and even re-install presta using all above same method but still no go.

 

I read couple of thread, people was saying put in root folder, however my hosting site does not allow to put into host folder and advise to put in a specific folder instead.

 

I'm pretty devastated therefore requesting for any help i could from this forum. Is there anything that i have missed out during installation?

 

Oh ya i did configure my smtp during my installation as well. is that going to affect anything?

and btw, while im installing, when comes to inputing the SQL thingy, it shows 127.0.0.1, i assume i should leave it as default?
