flyinfish Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 well... i set up my shop quite some time ago... i used a free template someone had posted and then customised it a fair bit. have been too scared to update in case it all falls apart some things don't work so well anymore. so backup and give it a shot? advice appreciated! However, I would recommend doing it manually. El Patron Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 why not just recreate your production site to a test site like a sub domain space back up your test site try different upgrade methods (restoring your test back up for each method) then after you figure out best way to put upgrade into production, you can either port your test system over to production...or .in some cases you can just re point your domain folder pointer... suerte Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
