Predefined text in description_short (urgent).

Hey guys, i have a customer who is very demanding. His request is to have the same text at the start of short description textfield when entering a new product. He has thousands of products and thinks that could save him time. Please reply asap cause he keeps ringing almost everyday about this issue. help would be appreciated.

1. Microsoft One Note, or any notepad(preferably advance)

4. LOL




I sorry.. but seriously. this is what I do. MS OneNote is a life saver. that, or Treepad(free)
They are great for organizing lots of text.

The text for descriptions and short_description are kept in the sql database for each individual product so having the same short description would mean inserting it into the database for each product. You could alter the product.tpl file and enter the text you want, instead of it calling the short_description from the database, but then if you want to display the short description any-where else on the site it would be blank.

You need to find and alter the left infos short_description code to make it look like the code below.
