PunkaTess
Hi, I have been creating a Prestashop site, and it was working fine until just the other week. No matter what I do, I keep receiving a Fatal Error message after I've created my account and try to purchase an item. You can see the site here: http://scrapjack.net/audiojack/audiotest/ I have created a product that has a $0 price tag so that you can try to purchase it and see the error for yourself. I've even created two brand new Prestashop installs this week on two different servers, two different hosting companies. I get the exact same error in the exact same place. This is seriously delaying our launch date. Can anyone help me out with this? Here is the link to the product to try and purchase: http://scrapjack.net/audiojack/audiotest/trek-earth/37-i.html Thank you. Tess
El Patron
change your config/config.inc.php to show errors @ini_set('display_errors', 'on'); the recreate you issue and note the error you receive.

PunkaTess
I made the change, but it still does not show any error details. Is there something else I am missing? Thank you. Tess
El Patron
I tried creating an account, first quick reg had no country, then regular reg had no zip...if someone can't help you I'll look again tomorrow.
PunkaTess
Thanks, I had removed the country and zip code fields, but I've tried to readd them, and the change never shows up. I don't get that error anymore on my system. I used to get that red error bar at the top saying those were required, but when I readd the fields I didn't get the error. I still get the Fatal Error though, on all three versions of the site. Two brand new installs even that I haven't made any change to. Here's another instance that gets the same error: http://tessbodley.com/prestashop/product.php?id_product=10 I also turned on the error description in config.inc.php and it doesn't show the error details either. El Patron
you need ftp back the native prestashop files (non-changed files) that you modified to remove country/zip. The fatal error you receive, best guess, is your changes.
PunkaTess
I already replaced all of the changed files. Also, I set up two brand new instances of Prestashop and keep getting a Fatal Error on them in the exact same place. And on those two sites, I didn't make a single change other than the logo: http://tessbodley.com/prestashop/product.php?id_product=10 http://www.scrapjack.net/audiotest/product.php?id_product=12 All of the pages get Fatal Errors, and none of them show the error, even though I've turned the option on in the config file for every one. I've been programming for 15 years and none of this makes any sense. Even brand new clean installs on new databases and servers don't prevent the error. PunkaTess
I never resolved this issue, but after half a dozen tries, I was able to get a new database and a new version of Prestashop working.
