When uploading product using CSV, the product can't be found through the "Search" feature

hi all,

 

i'm using prestashop 1.4.8. just trying to set up a new store.

right now, i'm learning how to use the CSV import to upload product.

one problem that i found out is that when i upload a product using the CSV Import, the product can't be found using the "Search" feature.

but the product does exist in the product list.

 

the problem can be fixed if i enter to the product info via Back Office.

i just click the "save" button and the product will be found using the "Search" feature.

 

i'm just curious why does that happened.

and i have more than 1000 products, it will be quite troublesome to click the "save" button one by one.

 

can anyone give me some enlightments about this problem, please?
