blackboxmycar
Hello guy, I am very new to this. I hired someone to make my website through prestashop. I've been reading over the manuals to learn more about different features. However, one thing I cannot find is how to change the Meta Title for my overall website. On page 21, I do see how to create meta title and urls. However, my question is, when someone were to type in blackboxmycar on google, It basically shows the title of "Blackbox." Where can I change the main meta title from the admin web? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Alex
kristianmu
Go to Preferences -> SEO, URL... Here you can find all pages, and if you edit one, you will be able to add Meta-Title, Meta-Description, Meta-Keywords and URL-rewrite. The index.php is the main page, and I think is the one you are looking for. In other hand, you can change the name of your shop in Preferences-> Contact info->Shop name, you can change the shop name and this will apear in all pages title.

( Sorry for my bad english - I do my best ... ) This does not work for me. I installed as a complete newbie 1.5.6.0. As shop name, "my webshop" was installed automaticly. When I change the Shop name in "contact info", the name "my webshop" in the black banner changes into the new name after clicking the save button. When I go to another back-office page , the name "my webshop" reappears. When I go back to the contact info-page, the new name has disappeared and "my webshop" is there again. When I put something as a title in the SEO-page, the title appaers as he has to be but is always followed by " - my webshop ". How can I change the title ? Thanks for helping me ! NemoPS
Prestashop has no 'payment' class in 1.5. Are you using any third party module which has it? Any override?
Sohaib Naseem
I am using 2Checkout module, is that because of it? or what do you think can be the reason behind this?
NemoPS
Yes, it's because of it. If there is any class named like that, try moving it to the main classes folder, then erase the file class_index.php located in the cache/ folder
