pickwizard Posted September 3, 2012 Author Share Posted September 3, 2012 i have checked the settings in the "customers" tab but none are checked to require fields. but i am still asked for phone numbers. is there a way to stop phone numbers altogether as i dont mind removing it from standard checkout as well atm i get about 20 people visiting the site and only 1 or 2 will checkout, i put some down to not wanting to create an account and only want a quick buy please help so i can turn this feature on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pickwizard Posted September 3, 2012 Author Share Posted September 3, 2012 This forum keeps timing out for new posts so i will post in here. i still have the above problem but since changing to "1 step checkout" the phone number had reappeared and works but doesnt work on the 5 step checkout 2 more problems now and i know the first is a database problem. i installed 1.4.9.0 on a database and then exported and imported it onto a private sql, now i do not recieve an email once a new order comes in, i reverted back to the basic slow database and the email come through from a test, back on my fast sql now and no email. which table is this on so i may try to import or edit that table please my other problem is the time zone, it is stuck on 1 = Africa/Abidjan and i would like 364 = Europe/London i can change it in prefences and it does give a green Settings update successful but this setting doesnt stay, it reverts straight back to Africa/Abidjan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
