Wrong language in emails

Hello we have translated all the emails into a second language. But now when we test the site all the emails are still being sent in the default language (English)

 

We've double checked that these emails have been translated correctly so we are very worried as we cant work out what has gone wrong. My client wants the site to go live asap but this is causing a major problem. Can anyone help please?
