It might be better to start individual topics since I have several questions, but I did not want to cause too much clutter. I am trying to work though a few things with the site I have in progress and would be very appreciative of advice on any one of these issues:

 

1. I would like to get rid of everything except the shopping cart from the "user info" block (your account, login) and have been unable to find a way to configure or customize it. Is there something that I am missing or is it sort of a package deal?

 

2. for my site I dont think it is necessary to have titles on some to the modules like "categories". Is this something that can be accomplished from the back office or should I edit the html?

 

3. Is there a way to change the product view so that there are several products listed side by side instead of just one per line?

I can help you with 2.

 

There's a sub-tab in the back office under tools, labeled translations. This tool allows editing of all the text in your shop. The spinner box offers the choice of front office, modules, etc. Then click on the flag representing your language, and you'll see how it works. Be sure to save your changes, at the bottom of the page.
