URL Rewrite on a windows server.

I have been wondering why my website was not doing well with its rankings.

 

A touch of research and it occurred to me that the urls were dynamic and were not being followed by spiders.

 

i am not on apache, but a windows web server 2008 R2 using iis 7.

 

Can i simply install the IIS URL Rewrite 2.0 module and i should be able to sort out all of the friendly urls?

 

Any other help or suggestions appreciated.
