After Install - Only the Logo and Categories Show

After successfully installing PrestaShop, I go to the directory I installed it within and the only thing I see is the logo and the categories box on the left which is empty. I am not sure why this has happened though?

try this to see if you can more information as to why Prestashop is not loading the rest of your content.
