two questions, one gateway, one error message

New shop, not up and running ret, trying to get there. My version presently 1.4.8.3.

 

1. I was going to attempt to use the upgrade feature when I saw the new final is out, but I get this message under the upgrade screen, current config section:

"Module version : Module version is outdated ( 0.3.4 ). Please install the last version (0.7)"

 

Is this a specific module? I'm a little lost what I need to do to fix this.

 

 

 

2. My bank is hemming and hawing about issuing merchant ID. They want us to use USA ePay for gateway and I got the correct module, but I can't configure it without the merchant ID info. I have set up some items for purchase, but while they display a "view" button, they don't have a "buy" button. I've been assuming this is because the gateway isn't configured - is that correct? Or is there another problem I'm not aware of?

well on this one did you sign up for an account with USA ePay to use their gateway? Like most services they require to open up an account with them to use it is why I am asking and it's separate from a bank institution.

USA ePay apparently only accepts account via resellers and in this case, the bank (Capitol One) IS the reseller. Without their help, I can't move forward.

 

<s>I still need to know if the reason I can't get a "buy" button in addition to "view" on a cart item is because the gateway is not configured... who knows the answer?</s>

I wondered the same thing, so I searched my module page for "v0.3.4". Turns out it's the automatic update module itself that needs updating. Latest version (0.7) is here: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/administration-tools-prestashop-modules/5496-autoupgrade.html

Did you have any problems installing the new upgrade module?

 

I tried using the "Install the latest by clicking "Add from my computer"" button but I get a permissions error, even though I'm logged in as admin...
