edoluz
Hello. We've bought this module. It's very nice but doesn't work completely on our server due a restriction of our hosting provider: we can send 300 msgs/hour and have more than 2000 users to reach. We tried to send newsletters but the most is blocked by the server... I wrote in the contact page the 1st time and had a quick reply, but now I cannot write anymore in the contact page ("invalid message" error... ?!??!?!?!?!?!?!). I read in other topics that refunds can be asked if the module doesn't work within 30 days. We are in time and, even if the problem is due to a server limit, the module doesn't work correctly and sends mail only to the 1st 300 customers. So: we'd like to get in touch with the developer and ask him for a mod or similar to set an number of messages/hour the module can send to avoid blocks and problems. In the BO there is a sending option: "Number of messages per package". We thought that was the function we were looking for, but it isn't... if we set it to "100" for example, the module sends only 100 messages at all! Please, we need help to solve this problem or to be refunded. Thank you for your help. Regards, Edoardo Resta
edoluz
Very bad service. Someone, probably the module dev, answered us asking FTP credentials. We gave them for the only module folder... we found an EXE file in it (???) and he asked us for the admin credentials of our shop! We are really in hurry because we had to send mailings to users 1 week ago and now we could. We have sent some messages via contact form to understand if they are going to fix the module or refund us, but no one is ansering us!!!!!! That's not correct! Very bad support, WE ARE WORKING and not playing around!!!!!!!

We asked for instruction on "how to test the fixed module" and no one answered us!!
phrasespot
I have no affiliation with the developer and I don't know who s/he is/they are. But... As you can easily understand, we won't give any admin credentials to strangers (i suppose either you wouldn't do this). No, I dont understand. I don't see what the problem is. You have already installed a module written by them on your server. That IS FTP and back office access, if there was malice on the developers' part. Game is over. How do you expect them to fix the problem if you do not give FTP and Back Office access. You either trust them and install the code written by them on yur server AND give required credentials when you ask them to fix something. or you don't t rust them and don't install the module. You cannot have it both ways. That aside... It's very nice but doesn't work completely on our server due a restriction of our hosting provider: So the module works but your server does not. Compain about your hosting company, and not the module. We gave them for the only module folder... we found an EXE file in it Are you sure it came with the module/added there by module's developer? Did you inspect the module code before installing? Do you always with every module you install? We have sent some messages via contact form to understand if they are going to fix the module or refund us, but no one is ansering us!!!!!! Are you aware of messaging problems add-ons experiencing. Maybe they are not receving you messages? ("invalid message" error... ?!??!?!?!?!?!?!)....we found an EXE file in it (???)...but no one is ansering us!!!!!!...not playing around!!!!!!! Replying to your own posts (instead of editing the original) and adding several exclamation/question marks just makes you sound irrational. I am glad you are not a client of mine. bullywug
edoluz, I would first like to apologize for phrasespot's ugly response and nasty attitude in response to your frustrating situation. I don't know if the information is correct or not but the page listing this module in Prestashop claims it was developed by Prestashop engineers. You therefore have a means to contact them outside of the contact form. Their contact phone number is 888-947-6543. I hope this bit of information helps. I use this module as well and also have a shared hosting provider. This has caused a large number of difficulties but I've not run into any with this particlar module outside of the pain it is to replace the logo image. Anyway, if you still need help let me know and I'll see if I can help.
